Our Big Event is Tomorrow

Aloha All,

Our big Pahoa Community Gathering is TOMORROW, March 24th from 3-6 p.m. at the Pahoa Community Center. This event will kick off the public input process for the creation of a growth management plan for Pahoa, the Pahoa Regional Town Center Plan (the "Pahoa Plan").

Please take time out of your Saturday afternoon to join us at tomorrow’s event which features information about the "Pahoa Plan" and the all-important Community Input Survey, plus awesome food from Pahoa’s restaurants and great entertainment by the Kalapana Awa Band, the irresistible group that plays every Wednesday night at Uncle Robert’s Market in Kalapana. A good time will be had by all!

This is perhaps one of the most important meetings for the greater Pahoa community … for the gathering of information on what YOU want for Pahoa over the next 25-50 years. YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED!! You may also sign up to help create the Plan itself and/or help with survey outreach so that we hear from as much of our diverse community as possible before creating the Pahoa Plan.

Please read the attached Invitation … and pass it on! A link in the invitation will take you to more information about the Plan, the Survey and tomorrow’s Event.

Aloha and A Hui Hou!!

After a knockout world premiere at the San Francisco Fringe Festival, Dattner is bringing Eat, Pray Laugh! to Hawaii. Winner of the SF Fringe’s "Best Female Solo Act," the show is fresh off an 18-week, thrice-extended run of the show in San Francisco and a world tour with stops in New York, London, Mumbai, and Los Angeles. aliciadattner.com

Eat, Pray, Laugh! chronicles Alicia’s solo trip across India in search of spiritual salvation, which turns out to look nothing like she imagined. From seductive French yoga teachers to scary Indian toilets, Alicia dishes on everything including the Italian fashion exporter with a Krishna fetish and mosquitoes the size of small ponies, Chabad Jews on the Ganges and ultimately, the true meaning of mustaches and masala chai.

"Alicia Dattner…a hilariously talented performer full of pizazz, ebullient heart and irreverence! Poignancy & urbane indignation we can all relate to…You’ll love this quixotic quest for enlightenment! Alicia and India beckon…" -Audience Member
