Your Voice Counts!
Take the online Survey for the Pahoa Regional Town Center Plan!
The goal is to gather as many viewpoints as possible about why Pahoa Town matters to you. We need to hear what’s good about our town, what’s worth keeping, protecting, enhancing or creating anew. We also need to learn what you think about the things that might need improvement. We need to hear from folks who live in the Pahoa area, youth, adults, and elders, as well as from those who work or attend school here, have family or friends in the area, or simply care deeply about Pahoa Town.
Take the survey-online here
Deadline is extended until May 15, 2012
You can take a paper survey and drop it off at Pahoa Village Museum, Island Naturals, Lex Brodie’s, Pahoa Public Library or the District 5 County Council Office in Malama Market place

– How to get a good connection with your partner, lead and follow well.

mini-tramp, clowning and aerial silks. Cost $3 per class.
Kids Silks Class. Thursdays 2:30 – 4:00pm. On-going class for kids age

Aikido. Thursday 5:30pm – 6:30pm. Aikido is a beautiful, flowing
Japanese martial art that focuses on creating a flawless connection with
your own and your opponent’s mind and body to achieve true victory. Most
attacks are derived from sword fighting. Grabs and open-handed blows are
prevalent. Defenses make use of the opponent’s momentum, direction of
attach, and body mechanics and often look circular, mostly ending in
throws, arm- or wrist-locks. Aikido philosophy states that true victory
means winning against your own weakness and achieving harmony with the
people and the world. Training aikido will improve your posture, body
coordination, and confidence. You will learn skills useful for self
defense, reducing stress levels, controlling your temper, and solving
problems in everyday life. By donation.
If you are an instructor and would like to hold classes at SPACE, please
contact Jenna to discuss scheduling and rental agreements
