“To foster a pedestrian-oriented character in
the town center” (Excerpts from the Puna
Community Development Plan)

Results from the Pāhoa Plan Survey will provide the foundation for the Pāhoa Plan – and over
500 Pāhoa area citizens have been heard from so far! The Working Groups will have a good
idea of how the greater Pāhoa community feels on a broad range of topics and will use this
information to help write the plan that will establish policy for growth and development in and
around Pāhoa Town.

The Working Groups are a volunteer effort with an anticipated time span of approximately
6 months. The end result of the effort will be the final draft of the Pāhoa Regional Town Center
Plan which will then be presented to the County of Hawaii for acceptance as a legally binding
document.

Come and share your mana’o with others!
Setting is casual … please bring a chair or pillow for seating.
