Community geothermal Council Meeting!
Just a reminder we have a very important county council meeting coming up on July 2nd. Ormat will be giving a presentation to the county council as will IDG. We really need to have a large turn out to send a message to the state that what they are doing and how they are doing it is unacceptable. Please tell your friends, family, and neighbors, we need them again. Bring people with you if you can or let me know if you need a ride, I have a truck and can take people in the back or try and coordinate rides. If anyone can help give people a ride let me know. The meeting starts at 8am, the testimony will be first followed by the presentations, a few people from the community will be ask to comment after the presentation. You can testify
via video conference in Pahoa, Waimea, or Kona. If possible come to Hilo and meet the DOH personnel in person. If we can get 75 or 100 testifiers they will have to listen to us all day before they give their presentations. They need to hear form us, the state has not came here in almost 20 years we may have to wait another 20 years for a chance to be heard.
