Word on the street is that the Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art in Hilo, also known as the East Hawaii Cultural Center, is hosting a vibrant gallery/runway of tattooed babes and alternative art. This unique gathering takes place on February 7th between 5:30 and 9:00 PM, and we’ve heard a tiny whisper that it could be one of the last events for HMOCA. Some body painting will happen and perhaps a performance by the Starfire Flame Sisters. This could be tribal, it could be rebellious, it could be sexy. Who knows? Mostly artist Mae Desmond, who seems to be cooking up an Afterparty. You don’t want to miss this. –puma
