Mayor Says the Lava is Pumping Straight for Pahoa town at tonight’s meeting! and a disaster assistance fair is scheduled for Saturday.
And a 24 hour resource center will open at the community center on Monday.
Railroad path is being dozed into a 2 lane gravel road and beach road a one lane and soon to start on a third way out through chain of craters and the National park.

Would a temporary movable bridge help?

Inside and out lava is discussed by the business owners of Pahoa

Interesting days are ahead for Pahoa.
The utilities companies are telling the business owners they are trying to prepare for many contingencies.

The meeting was supposedly about the the grid and how it affects businesses. It’s strange that the moderator doesn’t see how a question about the geothermal going off line again is relevant.
Of course it probably doesn’t hurt when you get advertising dollars from Ormat.

Ormat has no other reason to advertise except to promote their own positive image.

How’s that for an elephant in the room.
